About Meibern as

Meibern AS is a strategic advisor and innovator in knowledge transfer between scientific research and industry. Our business is project-based and takes into account the different disciplines and interest areas we represent. With education from Norwegian and Swedish universities and colleges, as well as international research experience, we have a wide range of skills and experience under one roof.

Our goals

Meibern AS aims to stimulate cooperation across disciplinary and geographic borders between Norway, Sweden and other Nordic countries.

Our main objectives are:

  • Identify basic research in Norway and Sweden that are applicable to the industry and link parties together in specific projects.
  • Facilitate competence assurance by connecting Norwegian research and industry to international research infrastructure.

We would also like to:

  • Strengthen the understanding of the general public with scientific issues and role of science in society.
  • Convey scientific achievements and make them available to the public.

Meibern AS is continuously working on bringing together communities and individuals who we believe can benefit from each other's experiences and knowledge. Our contacts and personal experiences within Norwegian and Swedish research, business and politics enable us to have an eye for detail, as well as the big picture.

Through our work, we create a common arena where different stakeholders can meet to initiate, build bridges and establish projects.
